You start with the 30-week PARA Combat Infantry Course at Catterick. We will hopefully have input from the Regimental recruitment team. Also we have some members here who have previously served as instructors.
We aim to post current and accurate information. So watch this space!

In short PARA CIC includes your basic training and Infantry training (Phase 1 & 2), plus the famous P Company (P Coy). You learn soldiering skills such as survival, firing and operating an array of weapon systems, tactical training, exercises, PT, CBRN and map reading etc. You also get your category B (car) or C (HGV) driving license prior to leaving ITC. If you’re under 17 years and 5 months, you do basic training at the Army Foundation College Harrogate (for 49 weeks) and then 14 weeks at Catterick.

Step 2
Next, you do a three-week Basic Para jumps course. You join your battalion as a fully trained Paratrooper.

It changes from time to time but the depot thread on here is still pretty accurate
