It is my ambition to join 4 PARA in 2021 and I appreciate how vital it is to have an understanding employer. I work for a small local firm of 30 people and the company is only 3 years old. No one is serving in the AR. Is there any literature that details the benefits of having an army reservist on your staff? Something to show the boss or any open evenings they can attend? Getting management on side is key for me.
Thanks in advance

Tell your boss that demonstrating support for Reservists can help them attract talented jobseekers, thus increasing the quality of their recruitment.
Explain there is legislation in place to support Employers, Reservists and Self-Employed Reservists financially during a period of mobilisation.

Get in touch with @4 PARA HQ who will help

Once you have completed your training the AR very much works around your day job. There is a minimum commitment of 27 days per year and some milestones you must reach in order to qualify for the annual bounty. Most units work off one night a week and one weekend a month.
