Just wondering if the POIC is still a thing? Cause I can only find info on it here and on paradata and ARRSE. I understand not in the time of covid probably but was/is it currently going? Cheers for the replies!
Route to Officer is apply online-face to face medical- AOSB briefing-Main board-POIC-pre-commissioning cours—44 week RMAS. Just make your CSM aware you are interested in joining Paras and they can book you onto a POIC.
Apparently it’s a blend of PRAC and some of what you will have done at your main board. Expect to run a lot, including the infamous 4 mile beasting up and down very steep hills. Son also had to do the steeplechase.
