It’s likely that, at this stage of your study journey, you are feeling rather unsure about what to expect as a student of OU, as a law student, or both. The important thing to remember is that you have people, such as your tutor and fellow students, that can help you. I guess it’s like military training in the sense that you can’t do it alone. Don’t be afraid to ask for help along the way.

Thanks mate. I think it’s just adjusting to a new discipline but I’ve already made contact with those in my tutor group and it feels like a support network is already forming!

Start examining how you spend your time. Have you got a good balance between study and other aspects of your life? Good study habits can help with time management, freeing up time for other things such as your Army Reserve plans. 4 Para is very time consuming but with the right balance anything is possible!

Learn to sleep less! You probably don’t as much as you think to function fine
